The Humane Society of Parkersburg is a not-for-profit organization that relies heavily upon donations to provide a high level of care for the animals in our Shelter as well as to support animal welfare efforts in our community.  Donations can take many forms but most common are monetary donations, supplies and services.

Also, if you are donating a large quantity of something that will require assistance to unload or will take up a large amount of storage space, we would appreciate it if you would please call us in advance to notify us of your generous donation so we can make sure to be ready for your delivery.

Services

We always need all sorts of services but commonly we need help with:

  • Computer support
  • Lawn and grounds care
  • Construction and facility maintenance services
  • Transportation

Please contact Michelle Earl, Executive Director (304-917-4275 Ext. 103) regarding donations of services.

All donations are acknowledged in our quarterly newsletter. Also, donations made in honor or memory of a person or pet will also be acknowledged by letter to both the honoree (or their family) and to the donor.
